Dark Romance

October 31, 2018

Happy Halloween Witches! I am beyond excited to share these images. I put out a call to the universe a few weeks ago that I really wanted to do something fun for Halloween...and well my girls Emily and Virginia over at Cork and Chambers wanted to contribute and it sort of snowballed from a fun quick shoot to a full styled wedding shoot.

I pulled inspiration for everyone to vibe off of and truly it blew me away, when we showed up to shoot on Sunday...that's right Sunday! Why not wait til 3 days before Halloween to do the Halloween shoot?! Hahahaha.

Finding our models Leah & Kevin on a social media page was truly a stroke of luck. I wanted a redhead model and they were serious perfection.

Now lets dote on all of these amazing vendors who contributed! I can't thank them all enough for pulling this together in such a short window of time. Every element was so gorgeous. The cake, lets talk about this cake...my soul cake. If I were a cake this is what I would want to look like. Blayre knocked it out of the park, building off the design of the invitations that Cork and Chambers designed for the invitations. Emily and Virginia always come up with the more gorgeous and unique invitation suits. I also found a mirror in my garage they added some beautiful calligraphy to. The flowers.....oh the flowers! Bridget nailed it with the moody bouquet and centerpiece. Throw in a couple dahlias and some moss and my heart is happy. All of this was set up around some of the beautiful furniture and accessories provided by Barnwood and Blush. Vintage table set, stunning orange velvet chair and even a cow skull.

Sarah Moser from Salon Noelle in Harrisburg did hair which I am still dying over it was so stunning. The braiding and texture showed off the Leah's gorgeous red hair. Katie Lombardo on makeup....which I don't even need to say anything Katie is amazing every single time and can take any inspiration I give her and slay any bridal look from dark, bright or ethereal. POSH bridal provided the cocktail (reception dress). This dress by Gemy Maalouf, no justice can be done in photos its an exception piece of art. Lastly, not least the jewelry was provided by Ally Rohland. Stunning hand made pieces perfectly blend the boho, modern and whimsy.
